Chicago Nanny, Winnetka, IL (Part-time initially 30 hours a week)

Location: Winnetka – North Shore

Compensation: $1,500 weekly, $78,000 yearly

Schedule:

• Tuesdays: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Thursdays: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Friday: 10.30am - 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 6.30pm (Flexible)
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00PM
• Opportunity may evolve into a long-term full-time role

A wonderful young family on Chicago’s North Shore is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly dependable Part-Time Nanny to support their growing household. The family has an 18-month-old son and has recently welcomed a newborn baby boy. They are exceptionally kind, flexible, engaging, and truly wonderful employers seeking someone who will become a valued extension of their family.

The ideal candidate will have substantial prior experience caring for both infants and toddlers and feel confident supporting a busy household with warmth, positivity, and professionalism. The family is looking for someone high-energy, nurturing, organized, proactive, and collaborative who genuinely enjoys working with young children and supporting parents during busy workdays.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting with the daily care and supervision of an infant and toddler
• Monitoring feeding schedules, nap schedules, and overall routines
• Swaddling, bottle preparation, bottle sterilization, and sanitizing baby items
• Maintaining clean and organized nursery, play, and baby care areas
• Assisting while parents are working or on calls
• Changing diapers and confidently using diaper disposal systems
• Cleaning and sanitizing bottles, toys, play areas, and baby equipment
• Assisting with baby laundry and maintaining inventories of baby supplies
• Ordering baby-related items online and keeping household essentials stocked
• Light errands and household support as needed
• Providing a calm, nurturing, team-oriented presence within the home

Desired Qualifications

• Prior professional experience caring for infants and toddlers required
• Infant CPR / CPR certification required
• Clear command of the English language required
• Clean background and excellent driving record required
• Outstanding professional and personal references required
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable with online ordering and inventory management
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with Chicago’s North Shore area preferred
• Team-player mentality with a flexible and positive attitude
• Comfortable supporting a busy but loving household environment
