Nanny

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for a 6 year old neurodivergent child. This vital role involves nurturing, engaging, and ensuring the safety of children while fostering their development through educational activities, play, and daily routines, driving to ABA classes as necessary. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and enthusiastic about creating a positive environment that promotes growth, learning, and well-being. Work hours will be 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Duties

• Provide attentive childcare for a neurodivergent child.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks when need it.
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises to stimulate learning and creativity
• Maintain a safe environment by implementing safety protocols, supervising child during activities, and managing potential hazards
• Assist with daily routines such as online schooling.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys, child areas.
• Support child with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary

Experience

• Proven experience working as a nanny or in childcare roles such as daycare or babysitting.
• Experience with meal preparation suitable for young children and managing dietary restrictions
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with a child with special needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents and understanding the child's unique needs.
