Warm, welcoming family with a thoughtful, communicative parenting style is seeking a proactive, engaging nanny to care for their two young children. Mom works from home and values open communication and teamwork, while Dad works outside of the home. The family appreciates initiative, organization, and someone who feels confident taking ownership of their role.

The Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• 44 hours guaranteed

The Child(ren):

• 2 children
• Young infant girl, nearly 3 months old
• Toddler boy, nearly 2 years old
• Both children are happy, curious, and thrive with an active, engaging caregiver.
• They love when their day is narrated and when everyday moments are turned into fun, enriching experiences.

The Family:

The Role:

• This is a hands-on, proactive nanny role focused on the children’s development and daily rhythm.
• Responsibilities include engaging play, age-appropriate activities, outings (library story time, park picnics, beach walks), children’s laundry, maintaining organization in play areas, restocking diaper bags, and flagging grocery and snack needs.
• Light child-related meal prep is expected.
• The ideal candidate is energetic, bubbly, communicative, and naturally takes initiative in keeping things running smoothly.
• The family may spend the month of July in San Francisco. If so, they hope the nanny can relocate with them for that period before returning to their Hamptons home. Additional seasonal travel may occur.

You:

• You are confident, warm, and highly communicative, with a strong command of English.
• You bring verifiable references from private homes and enjoy being active with children.
• You naturally narrate the day, incorporate fun into routines, and take pride in being organized and proactive.
• A driving license and early childhood education experience are a plus but not required.
• Strong verifiable references from your previous families are a must.
• The role is available as a fully live-in position, partial live-in (during work days), or fully live-out.

The Pay & Benefits:

• $40 per hour with overtime paid over 44 hours, which equates to $91,520 per annum for standard work weeks
• Health insurance stipend can be discussed
• Paid PTO and sick/personal time
