Nanny and Babysitter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide loving, attentive, and professional childcare for our baby and baby on the way. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a family in creating a nurturing environment that promotes growth, safety, and happiness. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your primary focus will be ensuring the well-being while fostering development through engaging activities and responsible caregiving.

Duties

• Provide attentive childcare tailored to newborn, infant, into toddler age-specific needs, including infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary requirements and preferences
• Maintain a safe environment by implementing proper safety protocols and supervising all activities
• Engage in educational play, teaching moments, and developmental exercises that promote learning and social skills
• Perform light cleaning duties related to childcare areas, including tidying up toys, changing diapers, and laundry as needed
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in routines, discipline strategies, and developmental goals

Skills

• Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles with a focus on infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Strong skills in meal preparation and nutritional planning for children
• Ability to perform first aid confidently and handle emergency situations effectively
• Capable of maintaining a clean environment through regular cleaning routines related to childcare responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with parents and caregivers

Start out at part-time and move into full-time!

Pay: $23.04 - $27.75 per hour
