About Our Family
We are a busy, close-knit family of three, expecting our fourth addition at the end of June, living in a warm and welcoming home in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. We recently moved into our home and are still in the process of setting up systems and getting organized. One of us works from home, while the other focuses on home life as we prepare for the arrival of our second child. We enjoy engaging in developmental activities with our toddler, and we embrace a Montessori-style approach to learning at home.
As a family, we prioritize spending quality time together and enjoy creating a peaceful, organized environment. We are focused on settling into our new space and establishing a calm, nurturing home.
As we navigate the busy months ahead, we are looking for someone to help balance childcare and household responsibilities. We value proactive support, professionalism, and maintaining a calm, organized environment where everyone works together as a team. We want someone who can bring a sense of calm and order to our home, helping us create more time for what truly matters—family time.
Who You Are
You are an experienced and engaging professional with a strong background in infant and toddler care, as well as household management and meal prep. You are confident and capable with newborns and enjoy being an active participant in a child's developmental journey. You understand that raising a child and managing a household is a team effort, and you're ready to be a supportive sidekick, working through challenges and projects together with the family. Whether it's calmly engaging with a toddler during a meltdown, planning and preparing meals, or organizing household tasks, you bring a proactive, hands-on approach to your role.
In addition to your childcare skills, you are comfortable in the kitchen, planning and preparing whole foods-focused meals. You make good use of your time by staying engaged and actively looking for ways to contribute, whether it's organizing, running errands, or tackling small household projects. You are focused and attentive, with a strong sense of initiative, and you take pride in starting tasks without needing to be asked—always with the goal of keeping things running smoothly. You understand the importance of professional boundaries and are respectful of the family's need for quiet, low-key time together, while also being warm and approachable.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, where your contributions help create a calm, organized, and nurturing atmosphere. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable, bringing energy and focus to your work, while maintaining a balanced and thoughtful presence in the home.
