Nanny / Caregiver

A busy, hands-on family in Robbinsville, NJ is seeking an experienced, proactive, and confident nanny to support their home during afternoon and evening hours. This is a long-term, live-out position starting ASAP, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM (approximately 25 hours per week). The role involves caring for three children (ages 10, 7, and 2) and partnering closely with mom, who is the primary caregiver during the week. The ideal candidate is someone who can step in with confidence, take initiative, and help bring structure, engagement, and consistency to the children’s routines.

Responsibilities include managing after-school transitions, planning and leading activities and outings, supporting dinner and bedtime routines, encouraging social interactions, driving the children using the family car, and assisting with light tidying and organization related to the children and shared spaces. The home is located on a working farm, so comfort with an active, outdoor environment and animals is important.

The family is offering $35–$40/hour (based on experience), along with guaranteed hours, paid vacation and personal days, paid holidays, accrued sick time, and payroll through a professional service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of professional nanny experience, strong multitasking skills, a warm and engaging personality, and the ability to set kind but firm boundaries. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and comfort driving are required, as well as CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), legal work authorization, and strong swimming ability. Familiarity with kosher practices is a plus, along with flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments, including earlier starts on school closure days or later evenings as needed.
