Compensation: $25 Minimum, higher based on experience

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Thursday, Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Description: This busy, dual-profession family is seeking a loving nanny for their little boy! They enjoy hiking, neighborhood walks, state/national parks, new foods/restaurants, and spending time with friends and traveling when time allows! They have a 5 yr old dutch spaniel who is friendly and medium energy. He enjoys spending time going for walks and chasing squirrels.

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, engaging, fun environment for their little boy that supports his intellectual, emotional, and physical development. Ideally, spend time outdoors with him most days (weather permitting), read books to him, listen to music together, play on the floor, etc. No screen time for him in the first 2 years.
• Feed (will be pumping breast milk and eventually likely planning for baby led weaning when age appropriate) him and change diapers throughout the day.
• Facilitate regular naps and support us in teaching him to self-soothe during nap time.
• Log feeds and diapers in our shared Huckelberry app
• Once he starts solids, prep his meal
• During downtime, wash bottles, wash/dry/put away his laundry, and tidy up after his activities

Ideal candidate:

• Be punctual, reliable, and a clear and proactive communicator with us
• Someone who is comfortable taking our dog Marty on walks when you go for walks
• Someone willing to help with other household tasks as detailed below on Wednesdays if one parent is home and assuming child care duties
• CPR/First Aid certified within the last 12 months or willing to be current prior to starting
• Well versed in safe sleep and safe car seat practices and principles
