Nanny / House Manager

Job description:

FULL-TIME opening in The Woodlands, TX - NOW.

We are seeking an experienced professional to assist a busy, busy family as a full-time Nanny to assist with household management responsibilities. The Nanny is to help keep their home of three (3) children running smoothly and support their family routine.

Childcare Responsibilities

Childcare duties may include:

Tag team partner with mom if she is town
School pickup
Helping transport children to activities when needed
Assist with homework/school projects and ensure completion
Snacks/Meal Prep for children
Supervising children at home as parents are finishing work
Occasional overnights with advance notice
Providing a calm, supportive presence for the kids

House Manger Responsibilities:

Household support duties include:

Assist with household errands
Preparing healthy dinners for the children
Laundry (washing, folding, and putting away)
Keeping the kitchen and living areas tidy
General household organization and upkeep (NOT housekeeping)

Schedule:

Start: NOW
Typical hours: Approximately 12:00–7:00 PM, Monday–Friday (35 hours)
Additional hours: Parents are busy, busy professionals and may have to travel for work, therefore an occasional overnights will be required – with advanced notice.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with experience managing a home and active children. This person should be flexible with a strong sense of ownership over daily operations. They are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling tasks solo with great discernment on what comes next…

Most importantly the ideal candidate should be warm, patient, and comfortable supporting children as needed. The right person enjoys caring for children, fun but firm while maintaining a calm and even-keeled presence, and is flexible, reliable, and team-oriented—someone who can anticipate needs and contribute to a smooth, well-run home.

Requirements:

Prior professional experience
Strong references
Ability to pass background checks
Reliable transportation and a GOOD & RESPONSIBLE DRIVER
High school graduate (or equivalent)
Able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen

Compensation:
$25-30/hr.
