Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Sundays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Position Overview

A warm and respectful family in a beautiful large home in Frederick, MD is seeking a Weekend Companion Nanny to support their 8-year-old son. This role is centered around engagement, companionship, and light daily support. The ideal candidate will create a positive, structured, and enjoyable environment while allowing the child to feel supported and comfortable.

About the Child

The child is 9 years old and benefits from a calm, patient, and engaging caregiver who can provide consistent companionship and gentle guidance throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities (games, reading, outdoor play)
• Provide companionship and ensure a positive, supportive environment
• Assist with light daily routines and structure
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the child
• Maintain a clean and organized environment related to the child
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child’s day

Ideal Candidate

• Patient, kind, and emotionally intuitive
• Experience working with school-age children
• Engaging and able to create structured, fun activities
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a private home environment

Employment Structure

This is a weekend position with consistent hours. Schedule may expand for the right candidate.

Pay: $22.42 - $25.00 per hour
