Position Overview
We seek a faith-centered, seasoned professional with both pedagogical and mentorship experience to serve as Private Family Nanny, Teacher & Youth Formation Director. This is a long-term role, ideal for someone who approaches childcare, education, and mentorship as both vocation and calling. You will work in close partnership with our family, providing guidance, structure, and nurturing presence, creating a home environment rich in learning, character formation, and spiritual growth.
While academic support is primarily provided through after-school programs, the ideal candidate will assist with light homework, reading, and individualized guidance, reinforcing concepts and cultivating a love of inquiry and learning.
Daily Responsibilities (Partnering With Our Family)
Morning (6:00–8:30 AM)
- Assist in morning routines: wake-up, hygiene, dressing, breakfast
- Support children in preparation for school
- Model patience, encouragement, and faith-centered guidance
Midday Break (8:30 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Off-duty, providing space for personal time, errands, or preparation
Afternoon / Evening (2:00–7:30 PM)
- Pick up family vehicle and children from school
- Support homework, reading, and after-school activities
- Lead mentorship, character development, and reflective moments of spiritual growth
- Guide bath and bedtime routines
- Reset and organize home spaces for calm and order
- Model empathy, composure, and integrity
Household Support
- Assist with laundry and organization of children’s spaces
- Meal/snack preparation as needed
- Support schedules, routines, and extracurricular logistics
- Serve as a calm, consistent, and nurturing presence
Optional / Bonus
- Travel with our family, domestic or international
Qualifications
- Youth pastor or equivalent mentorship experience, complemented by teaching or academic guidance experience
- Comfortable with infants through school-age children
- Calm, patient, relationally wise, and organized
- Safe driving record and comfort transporting children
- Flexible, dependable, and collaborative with our family

Pay: $45,458.07 - $54,745.21 per year
