Reliability Disclaimer (Please Read)

Only apply if you are reliable and professional. Frequent call-ins, no-shows, or quitting without notice are not acceptable. These are our children — they form attachments. We understand nannying is hard and not for everyone, but if it isn’t the right fit, there is a right and respectful way to handle that. Ghosting is absolutely unacceptable.

  • Experience with special needs children (G-tube experience is a plus but not required — we will train)
  • Experience with preschool-aged children

Job Description

Primary responsibility is caring for our 11-year-old daughter with a genetic disorder causing global developmental delays. She is nonverbal, non-ambulatory (wheelchair/butt-scooting), not potty trained, and fed primarily via G-tube. She is generally happy, easy-going, and engages through music, sensory toys, bubbles, and interaction.

Care will also include our 7-year-old daughter, who is high energy and loves active play (imagination games, skating, hoverboarding, etc.). Experience with preschool-aged children is required, as you will be responsible for all children when we are out.

Our 13-year-old is largely independent and does not require caregiving.

Parents are often home, though we do leave for errands and date nights.
