Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Palo Alto CA

A family in Palo Alto is seeking a Nanny/Family Assistant to help maintain their home and care for their 2-year-old son. The family has a housekeeper who comes in, so the main responsibility will be as a family assistant to help maintain the household.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a 2800 ft² home in Palo Alto through tasks such as



• • Laundry
  
  
  • Light housekeeping
  
  
  • Organizing
  
  
  • Grocery shopping
  
  
  • Meal preparation
  
  
  • Scheduling doctor appointments
  
  
  • Coordinating repairs
  
  
  • Managing water deliveries, etc…



• Caring for the child, mostly picking him up from daycare and providing a snack upon his return.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Family Assistant.



• At least 3 years of Nanny experience with toddlers.


• Ability to manage household tasks efficiently.


• A caring and patient demeanor when interacting with children.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills.


• CPR & First Aid Certification.


• COVID vaccination, negative TB test (within the last 2 years), Tdap, MMR, CPR/First Aid, and Flu vaccine.


• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and a reliable vehicle for daycare pickups, occasional errands, or appointments.



• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
