Nanny/Household Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Household Manager to provide exceptional care for our children and oversee household responsibilities. This role combines nurturing childcare with efficient household management, ensuring a safe, organized, and joyful environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting our family through attentive caregiving and household coordination. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a family's daily life while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere. You will be working alongside the children’s mother and assisting her with her duties with our home and toddler while she is home nursing our new baby boy.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare for an infant and a lively 2 year old ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary requirements, incorporating meal planning and minor cooking skills.
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, outings, and age-appropriate teaching to promote growth and learning.
• Manage household tasks such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment.
• Assist with activity drop-offs, pick-ups, diapering, nap schedules, and activity planning.
• Administer first aid when needed and handle emergency situations confidently while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants and toddlers.
• Strong knowledge of childcare best practices, including preschool activities and developmental milestones.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle household chores efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with family members and external caregivers or educators.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and family needs; reliable transportation needed. This role offers an engaging environment where your nurturing skills will flourish alongside your organizational talents.
