🧭 Position: National Account Director

📍 Location: Hyderabad

📋 Reports To: Region Head


✨ Role Summary

Lead and manage food service operations across assigned sites, ensuring service excellence, profitability, client satisfaction, HSE best practices and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role demands strategic oversight of large-scale catering operations with knowledge of latest trends in the food industry, strong financial control, people engagement & retention and exceptional client relationship management. The position requires regular travel across client sites to ensure operational consistency and stakeholder engagement.


🔑 Key Responsibilities

🍽️ Operational Management

  • Oversee daily food service operations in alignment with client contracts.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation across all meals.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus, events, and promotional activities.
  • Work with marketing & culinary to upgrade food concepts.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 22000:5000 and internal food safety protocols.

🤝 Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Proactively address service issues and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all contracts, renewals, and agreements are valid and up to date.

💰 Financial Performance

  • Achieve sales and profit targets through performance tracking and corrective actions.
  • Control cash handling, invoicing, collections, and financial documentation.
  • Monitor wastage, implement cost control measures, and support sustainable practices.

👥 People & Team Management

  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, ensuring optimal staffing and productivity.
  • Identify training needs and drive team development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross function teams for timely support
  • Ensure implementation of all HR and staff welfare processes.

🛡️ Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with legal, HR, and QHSE standards.
  • Maintain hygiene, food safety, and waste disposal protocols.
  • Report incidents and collaborate with internal QHSE teams to mitigate risks.

📦 Inventory & Procurement

  • Oversee raw material planning, storage, and inventory accuracy.
  • Work closely with purchase teams to align on cost trends and quality standards.
  • Enforce FIFO and hygiene standards in storage and cold room management.

Minimum Experience: At least 10 years in food service or hospitality operations.

P&L Management: Strong acumen in managing profit & loss, budgeting, and financial performance.

Client Management: Proven ability to build and maintain high-value client relationships.

Team Management: Engage and develop people for high motivation and reduction in attrition.

Large-Scale Catering: Demonstrated experience in managing large catering operations across multiple sites.

Strategic Leadership: Capable of driving operational excellence and team performance at scale.

Professional Presence: Well-groomed, articulate, and confident in client-facing environments.
