Position Summary
The National Accounts Strategy Partner plays a key role in driving growth and execution across our largest retail customers. This role combines strategic analysis, sales support, and cross-functional project management to strengthen customer partnerships, improve operational efficiency, and deliver insights that enable the National Accounts team to win in market.

Acting as a bridge between sales, commercial strategy, marketing, and field execution, this individual will own critical reporting processes, develop actionable business insights, and support the team with tools and presentations that elevate customer engagement and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
National Account Support
  • Partner with National Account Managers and Commercial Strategy to support onboarding of new customers, ensuring accurate setup and timely activation.
  • Manage ongoing account maintenance, including pricing updates, product changes, and promotional calendar tracking.
  • Coordinate retail program execution, ensuring timely delivery of POS assets, promotional materials, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Prepare customer-ready presentations, business reviews, and sell-in decks by synthesizing inputs from marketing, category insights, and sales data.
  • Consolidate and publish monthly account activity summaries and reports across the organization.
Strategic Analysis & Insights
  • Analyze sales performance across National Accounts, identifying opportunities to increase volume, share, and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain reporting scorecards, dashboards, and tools that measure customer and channel performance against goals.
  • Conduct monthly analyses using syndicated and internal data sources, presenting key findings to the National Accounts and Leadership teams.
  • Deliver actionable insights by identifying drivers and detractors of performance and recommending data-driven solutions.
Project & Process Management
  • Lead or support high-impact cross-functional projects that align with commercial and customer strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations leaders to enhance processes, streamline reporting, and identify automation or capability-building opportunities.
  • Support trade show planning, customer events, and team offsites, ensuring alignment of materials and messaging.
  • Maintain organized systems for account documentation, price lists, and contact directories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key liaison between National Accounts, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, and Field Sales to ensure alignment on initiatives and priorities.
  • Support the Vice Presidents of Large and Small Formats in developing and executing annual and quarterly goals for the National Accounts business.
  • Represent National Accounts perspectives in regional and corporate strategy discussions as needed.
Key Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, related field, OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a Sales Operations, National Accounts, or Strategic Planning role within CPG, Beverage, or similar industry.
  • Deep understanding of retail dynamics, including pricing, promotions, and category management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, polished presence.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and a collaborative, proactive approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive business information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
Travel

  • This position requires a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon receiving and accepting a job offer.
  • Valid driver’s license required
