We are looking for a National Director of Safety to join the zTrip family. This person should be well-developed in communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Duties And Responsibilities For a National Director Of Safety

Assist General Managers in preparing the Safety and Training sections of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including staffing plans and key indicator goals.

Be responsible for special projects as requested by the CEO or CFO.

Assist each Property management team in developing a vehicle accident and work-related injury prevention plan based on loss data and cause analysis.

Assist and oversee the implementation of the loss prevention plan at each Property. Monitor plan's effectiveness, comparing actual results to established key indicator goals, recommending appropriate corrective action.

Assist each Property management team in the consistent implementation and maintenance of Company-defined safety and training processes and systems.

Provide safety-related consulting services, resources and materials to each Property management team.

Develop and implement safety communication and training programs

Attend and make presentations at monthly safety meetings

Attend new city startups and safety committee meetings as requested

Develop Safety and Training Manager’s professional skills, including presentation, teaching, investigation, employee selection and evaluation.

Provide safety training to management team in accordance with Company-developed curriculum. Assist in selecting and training new safety and training managers

Communicate with both General Managers and safety and training managers regularly and conduct division safety manager meetings

Assist in training new safety committees

Oversee implementation and on-going compliance of Company programs mandated by government regulations
Qualifications For a National Director Of Safety

BA/BS in relevant field, or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to safety compliance.

5 years of comprehensive safety or loss control with transportation or vehicle fleet experience.

Must have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work with minimal supervision

Must be proficient in use of computers for word processing and spreadsheet applications.
