National Sales Manager

Job Title: BelGAS Utility National Sales Manager

Position Function:

The BelGAS Utility National Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the national sales strategy for products under the BelGAS brand into the Natural Gas Utility Market. This position drives revenue growth, manages key customer relationships, develops new Utility approvals, and supports the company’s overall strategic objectives.

Responsibilities: To include but not limited to the following

Sales Strategy and Leadership

· Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

· Manage and coach a team of regional sales managers, manufacturer’s representatives, and distributors.

· Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

· Help develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to ensure alignment with company objectives.

· Support new product introductions and coordinate with marketing and engineering for product positioning.

Customer and Channel Management

· Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and end user Utilities.

· Negotiate major contracts, pricing, and terms with strategic customers and partners.

· Identify, onboard, and manage authorized distributors and sales representatives from across all regions.

· Conduct regular field visits to customer sites and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and identify business development opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and technical support.

· Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials, trade show strategies, and digital marketing campaigns.

· Provide market feedback for new product development and design improvements.

Performance Management

· Set clear sales targets and KPIs for sales team members, distributors, and representatives.

· Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.

· Prepare detailed sales reports and present performance updates to senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering preferred.

· Proven track record of success in General Industry selling with extensive knowledge and experience in sales and account management.

· Knowledge and experience in the appropriate product line(s) within the Marsh Bellofram BelGas portfolio. Mechanical background and experience.

· Proficiency with Computer database construction and development, MS Office Excel and Word as well as Sales Force.

· Ability to interpret profit and loss statements and apply basic business financial principles to support decision-making and sales strategy.

· Must demonstrate strong business writing skills, including the ability to prepare professional letters, quotations, and proposals.

· Flexibility and mobility to travel extensively through the United States as business needs require.

· Documented success in managing major accounts, cultivating strong client relationships, and engaging with senior-level contacts.

· Proficiency in high-level negotiations and account management strategies.

· Foundational people management skills, with experience and natural ability to lead, influence and support team members when required.

· Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
