Job Description — National Sales Manager (NSM)
Role Summary
As the National Sales Manager for the Enterprise team, you will be responsible for leading strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth across large corporate and enterprise accounts, and expanding Paytm’s footprint in the digital payments ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Tech, Operations, and Risk to deliver tailored solutions and exceed commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Enterprise sales function to achieve revenue targets across assigned markets.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders and decision-makers at large enterprise clients.

Drive new business acquisition while maximizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

Own the P&L and performance metrics for enterprise portfolios, ensuring consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales objectives.

Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Operations, Risk & Compliance) to tailor offerings and resolve escalations.

Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service level agreements with key accounts.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and performance data to inform strategic decision-making.

Mentor and guide regional sales managers or account leadership to cultivate a high-performance sales organization.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or key account management—preferably within payments, fintech, or BFSI.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in enterprise B2B environments.

Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strategic mindset with ability to assess data and prioritize actionable insights.

Leadership experience managing high-performing sales teams.
