What’s on offer?
The opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven manager to develop and oversee our Fulton Hogan Trenchless Technologies business nationally. Currently the Trenchless Technologies business specialises in delivering non-destructive digging, service locating, pipe cracking, minor civils and horizontal directional drilling (9 rigs), primarily servicing the broader Fulton Hogan businesses. The Trenchless Technologies business seeks to expand its market share and capabilities to other services including relining, tunnelling and other trenchless technologies.
You will be working with a committed executive team to develop opportunities and the business. You will also oversee and ensure the delivery of projects, to the highest of safety and quality standards.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Identifying business opportunities for growth in line with the strategic business plan
  • Developing business opportunities in conjunction with the Executive team as applicable and Identifying/ building relationships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Establishing and implementing strategic plans for growth and diversification
  • Generating business cases to seek capex for investment into trenchless technologies
  • Maximising vertical integration and opportunities across the Fulton Hogan Utilities and broader Fulton Hogan businesses
  • The financial performance of the Trenchless Technologies business unit including timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Developing your team, supporting and mentoring direct reports, identifying and developing high potential talent.
How you'll connect to the role:
  • Suitable tertiary qualifications in business management, engineering or construction.
  • Extensive experience with self-perform delivery model
  • Strong background in underground technologies
  • A hands-on approach and demonstrated success in leading sustainable business growth
  • Strong client liaison and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to pursue clients and contracts
  • A collaborative / relationship contracting background
