Job Summary:
The National Visual OperationsCommunications Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of visual merchandising strategies and operational excellence across all locations. Acting as the "Voice" of the Visual Merchandising department, this individual is responsible for creating, maintaining, and distributing all execution directives, standards, training materials, and strategic communications related to visual merchandising. This role requires a highly organized and detailoriented professional with a strong background in both field and corporate visual merchandising operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Accounts Payable department, ensuring timely.

Develop, maintain, and distribute all visual merchandising directives, SOPs, standards, and training documents.

Act as the primary liaison between the field visual merchandising team, creative teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on visual execution strategies.

Oversee national visual execution rollouts, ensuring consistency and compliance across all retail locations.

Partner with the Lead Field Visual Merchandising Specialists to compile, analyze, and distribute reporting on execution effectiveness, compliance metrics, and in-store brand presence.

Manage and police an organized Asana project board focused on visual merchandising projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are accurately documented.

Support store teams by providing guidance and troubleshooting execution challenges.

Ensure all retail locations adhere to company-wide visual merchandising guidelines and operational standards.

Serve as the main point of contact for written communications related to visual merchandising initiatives.

Draft and circulate all visual merchandising communications, including national rollout directives, store execution guidelines, project updates, and compliance reports.

Work closely with the National Director of Visual Merchandising to develop and maintain a structured system for circulating visual directives and updates.

Facilitate regular communication touchpoints with the field visual merchandising team to ensure alignment on execution strategies.

Develop and manage a consistent training and onboarding system for new hires within the visual merchandising team.

Manage and track all incoming visual merchandising requests and projects through Asana, ensuring seamless coordination between creative, marketing, and sales teams.

Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met while maintaining organized documentation and reporting.

Collaborate with the Lead Field Visual Merchandising Specialists to align project initiatives with regional execution needs.

Partner with the creative team to ensure all briefing materials, documentation, and necessary resources are provided for seamless execution.

Coordinate the development of training content, video tutorials, and execution guidelines to support field teams.

Assist in basic space planning and floor layout adjustments as needed.

Provide graphic design support for visual merchandising directives, training materials, and store execution plans.

Develop store-specific execution guidelines for national and regional rollouts.

Partner with creative teams to ensure all visual elements meet brand standards.

Utilize Microsoft Suite (SharePoint, OpenDrive) to store and distribute all visual merchandising documents and assets.

Maintain a centralized repository of execution guidelines, store layouts, and training documents.

Ensure all data related to visual merchandising execution is tracked and reported accurately.

Work with the National Director of Visual Merchandising to refine reporting processes and data visualization for leadership insights.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Field and office experience in Visual Merchandising required.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required.

Strong project management experience, with proficiency in Asana or similar project tracking software.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including OpenDrive and SharePoint.

Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel for data tracking and reporting.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Experience collaborating with creative teams and field merchandising teams.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.
-
5+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising Operations, Retail Operations, or a similar role.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Capable of repetitive hand and arm motions as well as extended periods of typing.

Capable of looking at a screen for extended periods or entire shifts.
- Some travel may be required to attend cross-functional team meetings or support product launch events.
Work Schedule (Exempt):
This is a full-time, exempt position. The role requires the flexibility to work the hours necessary to meet business needs, which may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Work schedules and expectations may be adjusted based on operational priorities and organizational demands.
