• Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical engineering
• Knowledge on ASME B16.34, ASME Sec V
• ASNT / ISNT / PCN Level II in RT, MT, PT and UT
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in performing Ultrasonic examination on forgings and welds & Radiographic film interpretations
• Preparation of Radiographic Shooting Sketches
• Preparation of Ultrasonic scan plans for Bars, Forgings and Welds
• Perform Radiographic Film Interpretations of Castings & Welds.
• Perform & Evaluate Ultrasonic Examination of Welds & Forgings
• Perform & Evaluate Liquid Penetrant Examination of components
• Review & Approval of Supplier NDT reports, RSS, UT Scan plans
• Offer non-destructive tests of components to customer representatives / TPIA
• Preparation of NDT reports and documentation
• Review of project NDT requirements & preparation of NDT procedures
• Supplier Quality NDT inspections
• Record and maintain reworks and rejections as per departmental KPIs, analyze root cause and evaluate CAPA
• Supervise Level I NDT operators
• Experience in Valve industry is an added advantage
