QC Engineer – Metallic (Oil & Gas Pipeline Construction)

Job Overview:

We are hiring an experienced QC Engineer – Metallic for our Oil & Gas Pipeline Construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in metallic pipeline quality control activities within GCC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Quality Control procedures at site
• Review project specifications, ITPs, and method statements
• Conduct inspections for fit-up, welding, visual inspection, and dimensional checks
• Coordinate NDT activities and review NDT reports
• Ensure compliance with approved WPS/PQR and project standards
• Monitor hydrotesting, coating, and reinstatement activities
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain QA/QC documentation
• Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections and approvals
• Raise NCRs and follow up on corrective actions

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years GCC experience in Oil & Gas pipeline projects
• Strong experience in metallic pipeline construction (mandatory)
• Knowledge of welding inspection and NDT processes
• Familiar with ASME/API standards
• CSWIP / AWS certification
• Ability to read isometric drawings and P&IDs
• Immediate joining preferred

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
