Key Responsibilities;

Operational Management

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily NDT activities
  • Assign jobs to NDT technicians and monitor job progress
  • Coordinate with QA/QC, maintenance, and production teams to align inspection priorities
  • Ensure efficient utilization of personnel and equipment

Quality & Compliance

  • Verify that inspections meet client specifications and applicable codes
  • Review and approve inspection reports
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with NDT procedures and safety standards
  • Support internal and external audits

HSE & Radiation Safety

  • Ensure all NDT work complies with radiation safety and local regulatory requirements

Resource & Equipment Management

  • Manage NDT equipment inventory, calibration, and maintenance
  • Forecast manpower needs and support the recruitment or training of NDT staff
  • Ensure all NDT personnel are certified and valid

Client & Project Interface

  • Coordinate with project management, QA/QC, and client representatives for inspection activities
  • Attend progress and coordination meetings
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve inspection-related issues

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
  • Track productivity, job performance, and turnaround time
  • Support billing and documentation for completed work

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Welding Engineering
  • Knowledge in Conventional and Advanced NDT (MPI, DPI, UT, RT, PAUT, TOFD, etc.)
  • 7–12 years in NDT, including 3–5 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Valid Level II or III certifications in multiple NDT methods (ASNT SNT-TC-1A / ISO 9712 / PCN / CSWIP)
