Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled PAUT - Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials and structures through advanced ultrasonic testing techniques. Position: PAUT Technician/Inspector (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing)

Experience Required: Minimum 7 years experience with Oil and Gas project

Industry: Oil and Gas

Qualification Required:

• PAUT Level II certification (ASNT or PCN)
• Min Diploma or technical certification in NDT
• Extensive experience in oil and gas projects

Company: ADNOC Onshore

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience with oil and gas projects
• PAUT Level II certification (ASNT SNT-TC-1A or PCN/CSWIP)
• Additional NDT certifications (UT, RT, MT, PT) are advantageous
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section V, API 1104, and related codes
• Experience with PAUT equipment (Olympus, GE, Zetec, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in onshore oil and gas facilities preferred
• Good communication skills in English
• Valid UAE experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct phased array ultrasonic testing on various materials and components to detect flaws and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting test results, findings, and recommendations for further action.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to analyze test data and provide insights for process improvements.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated correctly before use.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance procedures during testing operations.
• Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated on the latest testing technologies and methodologies.

Experience

• Proven experience in ultrasonic testing, specifically with phased array techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards within the relevant industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
