Neonatal Critical Care Transport Registered Nurse - Mid shift

Position Description: Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN - Registered Nurse

Summary:

St. Joseph's Children's Hospital Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Service is a specialized transport team, trained in neonatal and pediatric medicine, that travels 24/7 by dedicated ambulance, medical helicopter or fixed wing jet, to pick up newborns, infants and children under 18 from other hospitals in West-Central Florida and bring them to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. We deliver family-centered care and a parent or designee can ride along with the patient in the ambulance or fixed wing jet.

Requirements:

  • 2,000 hours of RN Level III or IV NICU experience
  • Current NRP certification
  • Agreement to complete required competencies to transport pediatric patients within 18 months after orientation is completed
  • Registered Nurse License
  • Associates Degree in Nursing

Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 12:00PM - 12:30AM

Shift: Shift 2

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
