About the Role

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of our ASP.NET 4.8 web applications (Web API and Razor-based SPA). The ideal candidate will not only be able to enhance our existing applications but also introduce modern design patterns and help in our migration journey to .NET Core with Clean Architecture and CQRS.

You will be working on a rights-based single page application where front-end views (Razor, jQuery, CSS, HTML) and API responses are tailored based on user permissions. We expect you to be hands-on with legacy ASP.NET while also guiding the transition to modern .NET practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance our ASP.NET 4.8 applications (Web API + Razor-based SPA).
• Implement new features and optimize existing functionality.
• Work on rights-based view rendering, ensuring that only authorized components (HTML, CSS, jQuery) are served.
• Integrate APIs with Google Identity for token-based authentication and authorization.
• Introduce and implement modern design patterns in existing projects.
• Assist in migrating application logic from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET Core.
• Design and implement solutions using CQRS and Clean Architecture.
• Collaborate with team members using Git for version control.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure smooth delivery of new features.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET 4.8 (MVC, Razor Views, Web API).
• Proficiency in C#, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience working with Google Identity / OAuth2 authentication.
• Strong understanding of rights/roles-based access in web applications.
• Practical experience with .NET Core development.
• Knowledge of CQRS and Clean Architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Git and collaborative development practices.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in migrating legacy applications to .NET Core.
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or similar).
• Understanding of cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.
