Come join a company that strives for Extraordinary People and Exceptional Performance! Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a .NET Developer to join our team supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.


This .NET Developer will design, build, and enhance data-driven applications that support public health data modernization initiatives. In this role, you’ll work with a collaborative, mission-driven team to develop scalable software solutions, optimize system performance, and contribute to the architecture of modern cloud-enabled platforms. You’ll use your technical expertise and creativity to solve complex challenges, ensure secure and efficient application delivery, and help shape systems that improve how data is shared and analyzed across the public health enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement .NET-based applications that support data integration, analytics, and modernization initiatives.
  • Build and optimize data-driven solutions leveraging SQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to align application design with existing system architecture and long-term modernization goals.
  • Integrate secure DevSecOps and CI/CD practices into development workflows to improve deployment reliability and code quality.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to enable interoperability and data exchange across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and refine applications using version control (Git) and modern software engineering practices to enhance usability, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of .NET experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications
  • Experience building and optimizing data-driven applications
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture
  • Experience in SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and familiarity with NoSQL technologies
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS)
  • Experience using Git for source control and versioning
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices and CI/CD technologies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

  • Experience leveraging AI coding assistants to boost productivity and code correctness
  • Experience with Typescript and React for frontend development
  • Experience with Python for scripting

Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
