We are currently seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our client's technology team on a 6-month extendable contract, onsite in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Power BI , with a proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-grade technology solutions.

This role will be responsible for defining solution architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications and reporting platforms that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures using .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Power BI
• Lead technical design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide architectural governance and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• Define application architecture, integration patterns, and database design standards
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, business, and project teams to ensure successful solution delivery
• Design and oversee the development of enterprise applications using .NET technologies
• Architect SQL Server database solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
• Lead Power BI dashboard and reporting solution design, including data modelling, KPI frameworks, reporting architecture, and user experience considerations
• Ensure Power BI solutions deliver actionable business insights and align with stakeholder requirements
• Review technical designs, code quality, and development standards
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex technical issues

Experience Required

• 8+ years of experience within Microsoft technology environments, including Solution Architecture responsibilities
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and enterprise application architecture
• Extensive experience with SQL Server, including database design, performance tuning, optimization, and complex query development
• Proven experience designing and delivering Power BI reporting and dashboard solutions
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL concepts, reporting architectures, and business intelligence best practices
• Experience integrating applications, databases, and reporting platforms within enterprise environments
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to lead technical decision-making
