What You'll Do
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance, administration, and optimization of MMS networks and systems to deliver a strong and secure infrastructure. You'll focus on overall system security and risk remediation activities. You'll work with project teams to achieve highly available and high-performance applications and services with the goal of becoming a more efficient organization.

Key Responsibilities

Analyzes, administers, supports, and maintains MMS networks, including virtual environment.

Maintains network security and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.

Evaluates and installs hardware, security devices, and software of network related equipment.

Configures and maintains network architecture NAS/SAN devices and technologies.

Participates in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.

Collaborates with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.

Develops and implements testing strategies, manages backups, and participates in disaster recovery planning activities.

Evaluates and identifies the causes of network issues and provides prompt resolution.

Installs systems and components ensuring integration with existing systems.

Analyzes and reports network security breaches or attempted breaches.

Monitors industry websites or publications for information about patches, releases, viruses, or potential problem identification.

Administers email, encryption services, and anti-virus systems.

Provides support and assistance as needed for other areas of the IT department.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Equivalent Industry experience will be considered.
3-5 years of related experience is a must.
Experience managing virtualization technologies and a Windows Active Directory environment, including Group Policy required.
Certification(s) such as CCNA and MCSE preferred.
Working knowledge of networking protocols and standards.
Must successfully demonstrate a high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to successfully maintain confidentiality.
Persuasive and professional oral and written communication skills.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently or in a team environment.
Ability to work in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. May need to complete work after hours or on weekends as needed.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand or sit, talk, hear, and operate a computer and telephone. Light to moderate lifting is occasionally required.
