Position: Senior Network Administrator
Job Type: Full-Time; Exempt
Shift Details: 8:00AM - 5:00PM - Monday-Friday
Work Location: Hybrid - Travel Required up to 50%
Salary/Hourly Wage: $80,000.00 - $82,000.00/year

Summary Of Job: The Network Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Recovery Innovation’s IT network infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency. This role supports the behavioral health organization by ensuring seamless connectivity, data integrity, and compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Network Management & Maintenance:
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and maintain VPNs and remote access solutions for secure employee connectivity.
  • System Administration & Support:
  • Manage user accounts, group policies, and access control in Active Directory and cloud-based environments.
  • Provide technical support for escalated network-related issues and assist IT staff in troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and update network documentation, including topology diagrams and device configurations.
  • Infrastructure Upgrades & Optimization:
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new networking technologies and solutions to enhance performance and security.
  • Conduct capacity planning to support future growth and business needs.
  • Assist in cloud migrations and hybrid networking solutions as needed.
  • Security, Compliance, & Risk Management:
    • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
    • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies and procedures as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
  • Regularly update security protocols and conduct network vulnerability assessments.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with administration and site leadership to ensure an effective and efficient network system implementation and implemented IT infrastructure.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for critical network infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular testing of backup systems to ensure rapid recovery in case of failure.
  • Work with leadership to ensure continuity planning aligns with business objectives.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Education/Licenses:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network administration, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data security regulations.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
  • Experience with firewall management, VPNs, and network security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and hybrid IT environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage projects within deadlines and scope
  • Driving Requirements:
    • If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy.
    • If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
  • Miscellaneous Requirements:
    • Travel required based on business need. This can be up to 50%
    • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

      • Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states.
      • Must be able to pass education verification check.
      • Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier (if driving is required for this position).

Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
Work Environment
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region
