Portella Smart Systems الكويت is looking for a skilled Network Administrator / IT Network Engineer to manage and optimize our growing IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and connectivity issues
• Implement and manage network security protocols and firewalls
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance
• Manage user access, permissions, and network policies
• Support cloud and hybrid network environments
• Document network configurations and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall management
• Experience with Cisco, MikroTik, or similar networking equipment
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
