The Network Development Senior Manager is responsible for the overall functions of the Network Development Department which include but not limited to the development of the Network Strategy, dealer’s performance, profitability, audit, customer satisfaction and retail registration effectiveness.
Main tasks :
Retail Network Strategy:

Develop mid-term and long term retail network strategy, underlining policies, and align the strategy with overall company targets

Adapt HQ central concepts for retail network/sales channels concerning design, structure, formats, size, partners, brand appearance, CI/CD retail standards & qualification, business processes on local/national requirements

Implement and adapt the retail network strategy to ensure achievement of set sales and contribution targets (retail and wholesale)

Monitor and benchmark competitors retail strategies for fast and accurate adaptation/adjustment of own retail strategy to ensure competitive edge
Develop and implement CSI strategy based on HQ CSI directives
Operative Network Development :

Set targets and policies for operational departments within the Network to ensure an effective and successful implementation

Implement CI/CD (brand presentation conformance)

Implement retail standards and monitor related dealer audit
-
Implement CSI strategy and control tool to measure CSI results, and define action plans for CSI score improvements

Monitor and improve dealer’s performance
-
Develop and implement network restructuring plans
-
Develop and implement retail consulting system/process
-
Manage and follow up on dealer’s contract and other legal issues
-
Fulfill compliance guidelines
-
Develop and implement standardized processes/systems (e.g. Dealer management System).

Implement and adapt training concepts, tools and media (with internal resources and external agencies).

Manage customer database and maintain customer relationships

Measure the quality of wholesale-retail business relationship
Monitor and manage dealers performance and progress
Business Management :

Develop and implement dealer performance management tool

Develop dealer performance criteria (KPI), qualitative and quantitative

Set Dealer measurement based on set KPIs and ensure reporting and controlling

Handle risk identification, early warning and risk management
-
Best practice/benchmarking and feedback reporting to MPC management and retail management for accurate and effective business decisions
Development and maintenance of retail margin policy
Budget Planning and Allocation:

Plan and control the department’s budget

Ensure justification of budget usage and accountability of usage
-
Ensure effective and efficient budget usage and remain within the planned budget
