Network Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on professional experience in network engineering or IT support roles, with hands-on exposure to network management and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor internet connectivity and network performance across the organization.
• Diagnose and resolve internet and network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Report any critical network incidents or outages to senior management.
• Manage and maintain IT assets, including laptops, desktops, LCDs, printers, and peripherals like mice, keyboards, etc.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software as needed for team members.
• Maintain an updated inventory of IT equipment and ensure timely maintenance.
• Procure new IT equipment and accessories from the market as per organizational requirements.
• Manage the repair and servicing of damaged or faulty equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
• Regularly report to senior management regarding network status, issues, and resolutions.
• Discuss system upgrade requirements and infrastructure improvements with the CEO and seek approval before implementation

Required Skills:

• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting networking hardware, including routers, switches, servers and firewalls.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of network security principles, standards, and best practices.
• Strong experience in both wireless and wired network configuration and maintenance.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and IT asset management systems.
• Good understanding of IT hardware procurement processes and conducting R&D for evaluating new hardware solution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
