Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

1. Network Design & Implementation

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade LAN/WAN/WLAN networks.
• Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Create detailed network diagrams, documentation, and topology maps.

2. Network Operations & Support

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues (latency, outages, hardware failures).
• Perform daily network health checks and ensure 24×7 availability of critical systems.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated network incidents.

3. Security & Compliance

• Configure and maintain firewall rules, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
• Ensure network compliance with industry standards and security policies.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.

4. Optimization & Capacity Planning

• Analyze network usage and forecast future requirements.
• Implement QoS, traffic shaping, and optimization strategies.
• Recommend upgrades to improve reliability and performance.

5. Cloud & Virtualization (Optional/If Applicable)

• Manage hybrid network environments across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Support SD-WAN, VPN tunnels, virtual firewalls, and cloud connectivity tools.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
• JNCIA / JNCIS
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies
• Knowledge of network automation (Python, Ansible, APIs)
• Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix)
