Technical Engineer- Roads/Utilities

We are looking for a skilled Technical Engineer – Utilities with strong experience in infrastructure and underground utility works. The candidate will be responsible for technical coordination, design review, and execution support for utility networks including water supply, sewerage, stormwater, and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and coordinate technical drawings, shop drawings, and design submissions for utility works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority standards, and regulations (RTA, DEWA, Municipality, etc.).
• Provide technical support to site teams for execution of utility works including water, sewer, drainage, and stormwater networks.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for design approvals and technical clarifications.
• Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical issues, design discrepancies, and site challenges.
• Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are maintained on-site.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning of utility systems.
• Support quantity take-offs, BOQs, and project planning activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure and utility projects.
• Strong experience in:
• Water supply networks
• Sewerage systems
• Stormwater & drainage systems
• Experience in UAE projects and familiarity with authority regulations is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies and site execution.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with RTA/DEWA/DM projects
• Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and utility design standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
