Network Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to manage and support the network environment of a fast-paced 24/7 contact center. This role is focused on ensuring stable connectivity, voice quality, and system uptime for live operations handling UK-based clients.

You will play a key role in keeping our voice and data infrastructure running smoothly, especially during peak and critical hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor and maintain internet links, routers, switches, and firewalls across the office
• Ensure stable VoIP performance (call quality, latency, jitter control)
• Troubleshoot network issues in real-time during live operations.
• Manage and support VPN connectivity and remote access systems.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, bandwidth allocation, and traffic prioritization (QoS)
• Work closely with operations teams to resolve call drops or system delays quickly.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors during outages or escalations.
• Maintain basic network security, access control, and updates.
• Keep clear internal documentation of network setup and changes.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of practical experience in network support / IT infrastructure
• Good understanding of:
• Routers & switches.
• Internet troubleshooting.
• VoIP basics (SIP, latency, packet loss)
• Ability to work in a shift-based environment (including nights/weekends)
• Someone who can handle pressure during live operations and respond quickly.
• Basic familiarity with firewalls and network security is a plus.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• CCNA / Network+ or similar certification
• Experience in a call center / ISP / NOC environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
