Network Engineer (For Omani and expat in Oman only)

Experience: 3 to 5 Years with B.E/B.Tech or equivalent Academic, Preferred with Vendor Certifications from Cisco/PaloAlto/Fortinet/Aruba

Maintenance and Administration: Maintain and administer network hardware, software, and configurations, performing regular updates, patches, and health checks.

Monitoring: Monitor network performance, analyze data to identify bottlenecks, and make necessary adjustments to optimize traffic and ensure reliability.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network and system issues, ensuring high availability and performance for users.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and operational diagrams.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure network services operate as expected.

Key Skills

Product Configuration Knowledge: Well-versed with Core Switches, Distribution/Access Switches, ISP Routers/Modems, Wi-Fi & WLC, firewalls, Load Balancers functionalities & configurations.

Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of network infrastructure, hardware and protocols.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and support to solve complex technical issues efficiently, covering both preventive & corrective measures

Communication: Strong communication skills to explain network status to leaders and collaborate with team members and vendors.

Project Management: Ability to manage network-related projects and initiatives.
