Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Network Operations Engineer to join our global team. In this role, you will provide operational support for our network infrastructure with a focus on reducing Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Investigate (MTTI), and Resolve (MTTR) incidents. You will work closely with security, build, and operations teams to maintain a secure and resilient network environment that meets regulatory and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide frontline incident support and management for internal, external customers, and vendors.
• Monitor global network and security systems across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments.
• Work with technologies including Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, Citrix, McAfee, and Arista.
• Troubleshoot issues involving firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches, SD-WAN, VPNs, and LAN/WAN setups.
• Manage certificate lifecycles for load balancers and security appliances.
• Document processes using Confluence, ServiceNow, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance network reliability and reduce response times.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving network and cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience managing network technologies in a global environment.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, load balancers, and routing/switching.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
• Skilled in troubleshooting with tools such as NNMi, ThousandEyes, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Extrahop.
• Experience with network security tools: Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Checkpoint, etc.
• Understanding of virtual networking (Cisco CSR 1000v, Fortinet VDOMs, VRFs, etc.).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
