Network Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Network Engineer to join us.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Wireless Network Engineer in the Wireless/Telecom Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to our customers to understand their business requirements for Wi Fi, including site surveys.
• Ability to present the solution to the customer as part of the sales cycle.
• Working with post sales to feedback and improve handover and successful delivery of solutions.
• Consolidating and providing a High Level Design (HLD) service that delivers quotations, proposal documents, diagrams, and input to the design and technical sections of tender responses.
• Partner with the Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQs.
• Keep up to date on competitive solutions, products, and services.
• Creating a project plan and managing the work breakdown structure schedule to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
• Install, configure, and test our solution at customers' facilities during Proof of Concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on implementation of end to end Wi Fi Solution.
• Knowledge in networking for the implementation of connectivity between different nodes.
• Knowledge on wireless controllers with RADIUS, DIAMETER protocols, and captive portal.
• Knowledge of UDP TCP/IP, OSI layer, IP subnetting (IPv4), E1/T1, CAPWAP protocols.
• Experience in Linux and Windows operating systems would be an added advantage.
• Must have good communication skills and be customer facing with the right attitude.
• Fundamental knowledge in networks, WAN, LAN, wireless and wired communication networks, client/server knowledge.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel in an organization, including technical and executive personnel.
• Some project management experience would be an added advantage.

Work Experience/ Licenses and Certifications

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent degree course.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage customer calls and projects independently.
