Job Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain network infrastructure equipment such as routers, switches, wireless modules, VoIP systems, load balancers, VPNs, and network security appliances.

Ensure reliable connectivity for NU users and hosted services across LAN/WLAN environments.

Monitor core routing and switching performance and manage VLAN configurations to ensure optimal functionality.
-
Administer the call manager system for peak performance, monitor usage, and configure IP phones for end users.
-
Define, enforce, and monitor security policies across systems including Fortinet appliances, firewalls, and IPS, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Track and analyze internet bandwidth utilization.
-
Manage VPN configurations and access permissions for various user groups.
-
Maintain and review logs from all network infrastructure systems.
-
Conduct service evaluations for network services and recommend improvements.
-
Plan and oversee infrastructure changes, assessing their impact on users and hosted services.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related issues.
-
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to fulfill operational needs.
-
Provide end-user support across all network services offered.
-
Generate and present regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications And Requirements

Education and experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in communication or computer science or a related field.
-
At least two years of experience in relevant field in well-known and large-scale organizations that support at least 1,500 users.
-
CCNA is required.
-
CCNP Enterprise are a plus.
-
ITIL knowledge is a plus.
-
Technical skills:
-
Minimum two years of hands-on experience managing network infrastructure systems (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, Cisco Call Manager).

Expert in network administration and architecture.
-
Expert in Cisco and Fortinet network equipment and technologies.
-
Solid understanding of the operating systems of different network devices.
-
Expert in network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.
-
Expert in access control models and network security.
-
Soft skills:
-
Ability to identify enterprise needs and translate them into actionable plans and automated processes.
-
Proactive in diagnosing and solving complex problems creatively.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and clients.
-
Fluent in English.
-
Sound judgment in escalating issues appropriately.
-
Capable of drafting proposals, documenting procedures, liaising with vendors, delivering presentations, and collaborating with senior leadership.

Able to work independently under general supervision.
-
Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks within time and budget constraints.
