Role Overview

As a Network Support Officer, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining our network systems. You’ll support users, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist in implementing upgrades and security protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the stability of internal network systems.
  • Respond to network support and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software.
  • Support LAN, WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, and switches.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and incidents.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and guide them through troubleshooting steps.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to seniors or external vendors as required.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, or equivalent (preferred).

Experience:

  • Maximum one (1) year of experience in network support or a similar role. Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Skills:

  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
