Network Technical Support Engineer


Job Summary


We are looking for a Network Technical Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to support and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting network and WiFi issues, supporting users, and ensuring stable and secure connectivity across all systems.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide first-level technical support for network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and WiFi connectivity problems.
  • Respond to user requests and incidents within SLA.
  • Assist in maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and report issues.
  • Support network setup for new users, devices, and locations.
  • Troubleshoot wireless connectivity and performance issues.
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining access points.
  • Support basic WiFi coverage optimization.
  • Log, track, and document issues and resolutions.
  • Escalate complex technical problems when needed.
  • Follow standard troubleshooting procedures.
  • Follow IT security policies and best practices.
  • Assist in basic firewall and VPN configurations.
  • Ensure secure access to network resources.



Requirements


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or networking.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches, access points).

    Preferred Certifications
  • CCNA (or currently studying)
  • CompTIA Network+

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Good communication and user-facing skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team
  • Basic knowledge of network security
