New Product Introduction Manager

Job Requirements

To support in the introduction (Brief to NPIM) of new studded products-Tanishq by undertaking the technical evaluation of the design and programme management of the development of prototype and mass production of the approved prototypes. Regional coordinators/ Project Coordinators who in turn coordinate with the designers, Vendors (Vendor representatives, Head karigars and Karigars) on a daily basis to ensure the interim milestones are achieved so as to complete protos on time for Tanishq Studded products/collections.

Work Experience

Design : Product Management : Buy Route

• Review the technical evaluation of the design concept to ensure that its as per the guidelines
• Work with the vendor in the development of the master and prototype and garner required approvals while incorporating the recommendations
• Inwarding of the product in the system post the approval of the prototype.
• Liaison with the quality team in team to get the PIS to be done as per the guidelines

Design : Product Development : Vendor Management

• Evaluate the performance of the vendor and undertake appropriate actions based on the same.

Design : Product Development : Process Innovation

• Support in the development of alternate solutions which are cost efficient innovative to existing problems based on benchmarks and competitor analysis
• Ensure that quality is incorporated in the product through product review at each stage

Desired Experience:

8-10 years of experience in Product Development and CAD knowledge

Required Knowledge :

• KnowledgeProduct knowledge Specially for Necklace & High end jewellery
• Knowledge the production processes.
• Strong in Design and Product Understanding Skills…
• Hands-on experience in the Studded Jewellery making process including CAD, RPT Ghat & Final product.
• Domain Knowledge (Design & Product Development, PD process, Vendor Management, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Production Planning & Scheduling).
