About the Opportunity

We are building a confidential new venture within a high growth, science led wellness platform and are seeking a senior innovation leader to shape, build, and operationalize this opportunity from early exploration through launch readiness.

This is not a line extension role. This is an opportunity to architect and deliver a potential new growth engine, working directly with senior leadership across Strategy, M&A, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance. The mandate is strategic, fast paced, and high visibility, with direct exposure to enterprise level decision making.

The Role

The Project Lead will serve as the end-to-end owner of a confidential venture exploration and build. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and M&A, this individual will frame the opportunity, lead validation, drive cross functional execution, and translate concept into a commercially and operationally ready launch plan.

This role combines venture design with hands on delivery. The individual will lead a dedicated cross functional team and be accountable for advancing the initiative from early hypothesis through validated concept, pilot readiness, and launch execution planning.

A critical dimension of the role is shaping a differentiated, premium proposition while ensuring operational feasibility, margin discipline, and scalability are embedded from the outset.

  • Own the consumer learning agenda and ensure insight drives product, packaging, and experience decisions

Cross Functional Execution and Delivery
  • Integrate workstreams across R&D, Packaging, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and Commercial
  • Drive day to day execution across formulation, packaging development, cost engineering, and supply planning
  • Surface and resolve tradeoffs across technical feasibility, consumer ambition, margin thresholds, and scalability
  • Maintain pace, focus, and accountability across the venture team

Operating Model and Commercialization Pathway
  • Evaluate manufacturing and operating pathways that enable agility while supporting long term scalability
  • Assess external partnerships, joint ventures, or M&A adjacencies that could accelerate capability or speed to market
  • Ensure early stage decisions are compliant, executable, and enterprise scalable

Business Case and Launch Readiness
  • Partner closely with Finance and Commercial to shape and pressure test the integrated business case
  • Define KPIs across consumer appeal, technical readiness, cost structure, and profitability
  • Prepare executive materials and recommendations supporting capital allocation and launch sequencing

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in innovation, brand building, or general management within wellness, beverages, food or broader consumer goods
  • Demonstrated success bringing new products or platforms from concept through commercialization
  • Strong cross functional leadership across R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
  • Experience balancing consumer ambition with operational and financial discipline
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity while imposing structure, pace, and accountability
  • Exposure to venture incubation, partnership evaluation, or M&A environments is a plus
