Located at: W Virginia Ave
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week. Mondays are off. They are slightly flexible on changing up a day. Occasional date nights (1–2 times per month) would be a plus but are not required.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year
Start Date: Between May 11 and the first week of June

Children's Ages: Care will be for one newborn baby girl.

About the Children:
This sweet newborn is healthy and doing well, with their first round of vaccinations scheduled for the third week of May. Care will focus on establishing a gentle routine, including feeding, naps, and daily walks. The family values longer outdoor walks and fresh air as part of the baby’s day. They are looking for a nanny to follow the baby's lead and keep their little one engaged, learning, and growing.

About the Family:
Dad works outside of the home, and Mom works from home in the gaming industry. Mom plans to breastfeed throughout the day if she has free time. She is happy to coordinate a plan with the nanny on this.
Mom and Dad are pretty easy-going. They just place a strong emphasis on healthy hygiene practices so their little one doesn't get sick.

About the Pets:
The family has one small Yorkie (about 3 lbs) who primarily stays with Mom.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties are required, with a strong focus on newborn care. Responsibilities include feeding support, washing breast pump parts, diapering, soothing, engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities, baby laundry, unloading and loading the dishwasher, bottle preparation and cleaning, and keeping baby-related areas clean and organized.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position.

2+ years of experience with newborn care.
Calm, patient, and easygoing personality
Flexible and willing to follow Mom’s lead and parenting style
Someone who is proactive, nurturing, and enjoys working closely with parents who may be in and out of the home.
Values cleanliness and strong hygiene practices

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $29 – $30/hour (gross).

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, TDaP, and COVID-19 ( open to dicussing medical exemptions)
