News Researcher

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented News Researcher to join our digital Gulf news team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about current affairs, capable of identifying trending stories, and skilled at researching accurate information from reliable sources across Gulf countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and monitor the latest news from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.
• Identify trending, viral, and high-engagement news topics.
• Verify news through authentic and reliable sources.
• Track government announcements, visa updates, laws, public services, business, and community news.
• Monitor social media trends and emerging stories.
• Provide accurate news briefs and source links to the content team.
• Use AI tools to improve research efficiency and content planning.
• Stay updated on breaking news and important regional developments.

Requirements:

• Strong research and internet browsing skills.
• Interest in Gulf news, current affairs, and digital media.
• Ability to identify credible sources and verify information.
• Good written and reading comprehension in English.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online trends.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
