Our people division is growing, and we are looking for Trainers for our Mine Automation Group. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of initiative and ability to operate in a fluid-structured environment. The Trainer, Autonomous Operations will be expected to develop multiple personal and professional relationships with a variety of internal and external groups and departments. Primarily responsible for the practical training and assessment required for personnel to work safely and effectively in the autonomous mine and are in place to conduct demonstrations and to allow trainees to practice skills under their supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Manage AHS Documents into the Document Control library.
- Assist in managing active Training PO’s
- Meeting planning & facilitation, directing and tracking progress of training team action items.
- Frequent interaction with multiple work groups inside and outside of the division, working with miners, technicians, technical/support staff, supervision, and management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for competency.
- Manage AHS Training Schedule
- Audit and review training courses, materials, materials, and programs for Continuous Improvement.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to maintain legal obligations, meet competency-based training expectations, and optimize efficiencies.
- Participate in alignment of site initiatives or operational excellence opportunities.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience in construction, mining or heavy equipment industry (Preferred) Experience with SAP preferred
- Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required
- Proven experience working in LMS Systems required
- Proven experience in working with peer groups and focus teams required
- Ability to Manage NGM Document Control Site and Documents required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others required
- Ability to promote safety in training and lead by example required
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required
- Proven safe work record required
