NICET Fire Alarm Designer and Life Safety & Low Voltage Installation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fire sprinkler system designs with precision to minimize field errors and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and manuals to determine design requirements.
• Calculate and convert dimensions for system layouts, fabrication, and installation.
• Prepare design submittals and revisions for approval; collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design staff.
• Input and manage project data in design software, generating hard-copy and digital drawings.
• Produce final construction drawings, including material lists and system layouts.
• Revise drawings to reflect design modifications, changes in scope, or field conditions.
• Draft detailed multi-view plans showing components, routing, clearances, and connections.
• Ensure designs comply with fire codes, NFPA standards, and customer specifications.

Requirements

• NICET Level
• 5+ years of design of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm, water, foam and gas delivery systems experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
