Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained at all times.
- Monitor and guide the nursing staff in handling critically ill neonates.
- Oversee staff scheduling, duty rosters, and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
- Assist in developing and implementing nursing protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors, pediatricians, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct training and skill development programs for NICU nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, reports, and incident logs.
- Ensure infection control practices and NICU hygiene standards are strictly followed.
- Handle audits, inventory, and equipment maintenance related to NICU.
- Report to the Nursing Superintendent / Matron on unit performance and requirements.

Qualification:
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Staff Nurse Incharge or Senior Staff Nurse in NICU
- Must be a registered nurse with Maharashtra Nursing Council
