Job Summary

We are looking for a night audit supervisor to resolve any guest concerns, provide requested items to guests and monitor the safety and security of the property and act as manager on duty while onsite. You will be responsible for all areas of the property such as guest rooms, banquet space, front of the house and back of the house. In addition, we are looking to bring on someone who shares our passion for hospitality and creating exceptional and memorable experiences. Ideal candidates are highly motivated and effective at working in a fast-paced team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Oversee Night Audit operations including arrivals, departures, support Bell/Valet Team, conduct interior and exterior patrols throughout the hotel, checking for unsecured doors and rooms, trespassers, unauthorized persons in restricted areas and safety risks and hazards.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient handling of all requests for guest room reservations, changes, and cancellations in accordance with established standards and/or scripts.
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Be aware of hotel occupancy and availability.
  • Assist reservations department as needed or directed.
  • Ensure night audit teams complete their tasks and accurate data processing.
  • Run, analyze, and follow-up on reports as needed.
  • Direct bell staff to assist guests and enhance the guest service experience.
  • Assist with the hotel shuttle service when needed.
  • Communicate with other departments to provide superior guest service and promote teamwork.
  • Perform other traditional front desk and night audit duties as assigned or directed.
  • Prepare incident and accident reports.
  • Respond to, communicate, follow up, and provide updates on all incidents as they occur.
  • Act as Manager on Duty to address any concerns that may arise.
  • Coach, mentor, and train Night Auditors and Porters.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by leadership.

JOB TYPE: Full Time

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. College degree preferred but not required. English fluency required. Minimum 1-2 years' experience previous hospitality supervisor/management background preferably in Front Office or Night Audit.

SKILLS AND APTITUDES: Detail oriented. Organized and efficient. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. High quality standards for production and customer service. Maintain a professional and courteous environment. Ability to effectively manage and problem solve situations. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Able to effectively demonstrate associate competencies and participates in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and e-mail systems. Preferred knowledge of systems such as Opera Cloud and Delphi.

WORK LOCATION: Onsite

The expected base wage range for this position is $23.50 per hour based on experience. This position may be eligible for additional compensation according to the Company’s policies, as they may be amended from time to time.
